Stem Cell Awareness Day

So says Mary Meets Dolly.

So go, read her blog-- here are some adult stem cell stories, from a quick google:
Another Adult Stem Cell Advancement. Adult Stem-Cell Treatments: A Better Way. 2001 PDF,
Selected References Documenting the Scientific Advances in “Adult” Stem Cell Research – Potential Treatments Update (Post-Natal or Tissue Stem Cells, which are not derived from embryos)
Why Embryonic Stem Cells Are Obsolete

From another bioethics blog, "Secondhand Smoke," two categories:
Adult Stem Cell Research
Embryonic Stem Cell Research

I'm on the road again today, so I'll leave with a small point:
Ethical Dispute Opponents of hESC research hold that human life begins as soon as an egg is fertilized, and they consider a human embryo to be a human being. They therefore consider any research that necessitates the destruction of a human embryo to be morally abhorrent.
"Ethical Dispute"-- yeah, that's a nice way to put it. Kind of like how the mass-murder during WWII was an ethical dispute, or the issue of black slavery in America, or the humanity of female humans.
