I can't believe you posted this. My favorite album when I was a child in the 60's was "Snoopy vs The Red Baron" with "The Return of the Red Baron" on the flip side. (My favorite)

I vote best album cover here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/images/B001EDW9NI/ref=dp_image_0?ie=UTF8&n=5174&s=music

It was remade by the "Peter Pan Singers" and had other remakes like "Mrs. Brown, you've got a lovely daughter" and "on top of spagettie..all covered with cheese" "How much is that doggie in the window?"

I never knew of the Royal Guardsman until your post. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

If you haven't heard the Return of the Red Baron, you can find an original or cover here.

When we moved to Washington, we were able to pick up a good oldies station-- they would do the Snoopy Songs starting about this time of year and switch to Snoopy's Christmas after Halloween.

Absolutely *love* it--so fun to sing along with! (Also made me the only one who knew the Red Baron's name....)
