Keep Your Puppybreath-

I like how cats smell.  (Not to be confused with the litterbox, dirty cats, or cats that have just done a bodily function.)  Our cats, at least, smell like musk, fur and sunshine.  (the last one because the sliding door is almost always open, with the kitten laying at the screen door and the big cat on our little patio, both asleep in the sun)

Yes, this is pure fluff.

That said, if anyone has a non-fatal cure for kittens that think a napping human is a great chew toy, and who ignore being thumped, please share.

I'm afraid that lack of sleep is making me an "average person."  Went to get the kitten's next round of shots last night, found a new place and got the dose.  $20.  While looking up directions for use that I can read without a microscope, I found that the price for the whole box that the store had worked out to $10 each, and I actually almost kicked myself for getting "overcharged" before common sense kicked in.  I don't know how long he's had the package, but the vials expire in two months, and the pack was about half full.  Maybe he has made back the initial investment in the pack, since he probably isn't getting a bulk discount and I'm not really sure what chilled shipping on at most three vaccine packs would be. (There was the dog version of the vaccine and a third that I didn't identify.)  So he may be eating the cost of the syringe, needle, customer service (which was outstanding), electricity for the fridge and operating costs for the store in general.

What makes it even better?  The place is ostensibly an "organic" focused place... but almost everything is certified natural.  Which means, basically, "they get medical care and won't be a haven for pests, but they aren't hugely medicated."  I think of it as just sensible business practice, but I'm biased-- that's what my family has been doing with the calves we produce for ages.
